How to create positive impressions with the right workwear and embroidery

Wearing the right clothing for business and work is really important for both practical and commercial reasons.

Making a good impression on behalf of your business or organisation is crucial especially, for example, with customers, pitching for business, attending events or recruiting new staff.

Similarly, good branding is an important part of the jigsaw in building a successful business or organisation, whatever sector you operate in.

Branding covers all the elements which shape how your business or organisation is perceived by others. There are many aspects to a brand and it’s important that every touchpoint a customer engages with is consistent. This includes how staff answer the telephone, reply to emails or speak to customers.

Another essential ingredient of branding is a strong visual identity. This can be achieved through logos, lettering, colours, printed materials, emails, websites, signs, banners and, of course, workwear, uniforms and embroidered badges.

You’ve probably noticed that we have made a few changes to our own visual identity recently including a new logo. This has helped us to better represent what we offer to customers today.

At Harveys, we are experts in high-quality business and workwear, and also embroidery services.

Quality embroidery maximises the visual impact of business and workwear garments by adding that visual touch to clothing that your customers will recognise. It’s another opportunity to raise brand awareness and another touchpoint with your customers. So, it’s important that embroidery is consistent and done to the best quality and attention to detail. Good embroidery adds that finishing touch to clothing that your employees or members of your organisation will be proud to wear.

Our embroidery and design technology systems are state-of-the-art. Embroidery equipment is upgraded every few years, providing faster and higher-accuracy results. Likewise, our design software is upgraded regularly which enables customers to achieve ever-more intricate embroidered designs and wider capabilities for personalisation.

But our embroidery department offers other services too. Harveys designers can create new logos and badges from scratch or upgrade existing ones to retain the best old elements while adding important new details.

This can be important if, for example, you wish to strike a balance between referring to a business or organisation’s history and pedigree while also being seen as modern and relevant. No business wants to carry the risk of being seen as dated, tired, out-of-touch or old-fashioned through obsolete or poor-quality clothing and branding.

If you already have a logo and want it embroidered onto workwear, we can take care of that. Or if you need help to design a new logo or other element of artwork, we can bring your idea to life. Alternatively, if you’re not sure about visual design and what makes a logo stand out, we can advise you on all the factors – including choosing the right coloured garments.

We are experts across multiple workwear industries.

We are also proactive and conscientious with customers. For example, if an embroidered feature or choice of garment doesn’t look right then we tell our customers and offer alternative, quality solutions. We never press-ahead with a design that may not embroider well. We take the initiative, highlight the issues and suggest solutions to get the best for every client.

As part of our customer service, we can create mock-up designs to help clients see how finished designs will look and then make a better-informed choice. Also, if we can save clients’ money by embroidering a design more cost-effectively, we’ll suggest that too.

Finally, because Harveys has a skilled, in-house embroidery team and the most-advanced equipment, we do not charge embroidery set-up fees – unlike many other providers.  Our new customers are pleasantly surprised about this.
